Introduction to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms Part 1

Legal Resource Centre 2010
Part 1 of this power point with audio gives an overview  of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms since its beginning.  It discusses what the Charter is and is not and explains in detail the meaning using examples in the specific sections of the Charter.

It is suggested that teachers preview the resource first to be sure you experience no technical difficulties.  The presentation can be stopped and restarted at any point if there are items that need more discussion.  A glossary is available on the website if any words need explaining.
